Description
This Foxglove has an aberrant giant terminal flower. The phenomenon is called pseudo-peloria. It is caused by a mutation, which results in a plant that would normally have zygomorphic flowers producing aberrant actinomorphic flowers instead. In the case of Foxglove this results often in a single giant peloric terminal flower whilst the rest of the flowers remain zygomorphic. I found it in one of our neighbour's gardens.
